Three suspected militants killed in Gimry, power agents report
The active phase of the special operation in the village of Gimry, Untsukul District of Dagestan, is over; and law enforcers report about the killing of three members of the armed underground. Local residents confirm that no more shots are heard in the village.
According to the police, at night the militants blocked in the house tried to break through the cordon after refusing to hold negotiations with power agents, the head of the village told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Today, the bodies of the three suspected militants were lifted out of the gorge with the help of ropes. They are pre-identified as the members of the "Gimri grouping" Shamil Abdullaev, Abdullah Zaguliev and Ilyas Kamilov, the RIA "Dagestan" wrote at 3:15 p.m. with reference to a source from law enforcement bodies.
According to law enforcement bodies, all the three killed militants had operated under command of Ibragim Gadjidadaev, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
