Cleansings launched in Gimry, local resident reports
The village of Gimry, Untsukul District of Dagestan, has been invaded by plenty of law enforcers and soldiers; tanks are deployed in the vicinity; and shooting is heard, one of the locals told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
"The villagers, who remained in the village, called us and reported that numerous power agents had entered Gimry. They inspect household by household, behave aggressively; from time to time submachine and machine gun fire is heard; the surrounding heights have been already occupied by tanks; and there are rumour that in the near future Gimry will be bombed," said the source.
So far, officials from law enforcement bodies have not commented on the cleansings in the Untsukul District of Dagestan.
