Woman from Shamilkala detained during searches arrested by magistrate court

Djanetta Selivanova, who was detained during searches in the Dagestani village of Shamilkala, was today sentenced to ten days of administrative arrest, said a villager Raisa Ismailova.

On April 14, a representative of the organization named "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy) said that residents of Shamilkala had been subjected to mass searches. Power agents detained Djanetta Selivanova. Then, her two friends – sisters Alisa and Raisa Ismailova came to the police department to ask about the fate of the detainee. Policemen of the ROVD (District Interior Division) treated them rudely and detained Alisa Ismailova, claimed her sister Raisa.

According to Raisa Ismailova, today her sister and Djanetta Selivanova were delivered to the Shamilkala precinct of the magistrate court of the Untsukul District. Alisa Ismailova was released from the courtroom after she told "how it was in fact", Raisa Ismailova said in her interview to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

As to Djanetta Selivanova, an administrative case was opened against her; and the magistrate court sentenced her to 10 days in jail.
