In Nalchik, children of Syrian Circassians present 40 drawings at charity show

On April 14, Nalchik hosted a charity exhibition-sale, where 40 drawings of children of Syrian immigrants living in the republic were presented.

The school "Uspekh" (Success) also presented drawings in support of Syrian children. Lydia Kharadurova, Deputy Director of the Centre for Children's and Youth Creativity, said in her comment on the presented works that "the drawings show that children know their roots."

"They depict Nart epic heroes, mountains and their parents and use mostly not very bright colours. Many pictures show imaginary animals and alien creatures. The smallest of them draw rainbow pictures," said Ms Kharadurova.

"All the kids are doing is all fine," said Ruslan Khaptsev, an exhibition visitor. According to his story, children's drawings have no war, because "they had been timely taken out of there."
