Custody term to the defendants on the case of mass murder prolonged till April

On January, 15, the court in Krasnodar prolonged custody term to the defendants on the case of murder of 12 persons in the stanitsa of Kushevskaya for three months.

The term of custody to the defendants was prolonged till April, 23, 2013, RIA “Novosti” reports.

The defendants asked the court to release them on bail and house arrest. One of the defendants, Nicolay Tsapok, said: “I have been in custody for three years and I do not understand why”, “Zhivaya Kuban” (“Kuban Live”) reports.

Six defendants are in the dock.
