In Karachay-Cherkessia, man shelling police station killed
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), a man who shelled the police station in the Malokarachay District of Karachay-Cherkessia and who was then killed was identified as Dinislam Karakotov, a member of the armed underground. This was reported by Kazim Baibanov, a MIA's representative.
According to the FSB Department in the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR), Dinislam Karakotov was a member of the grouping led by Islam Uzdenov, who was killed during the special operation carried out in December 2011. The grouping led by Islam Uzdenov was involved in the attacks on MIA staff members in the Stavropol Territory and the KChR, in which three policemen were killed. This was reported by the FSB Department.
According to the MIA of Karachay-Cherkessia, today, prior to the attack on the police station, Dinislam Karakotov has killed a member of an illegal armed formation (IAF), who was under recognizance not to leave, and his neighbour, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
