Advocate Musaev appeals against ban of hijabs in schools at Russian SC

Advocate Murad Musaev, who represents the interests of three residents of the Stavropol Territory, filed an appeal to the Supreme Court (SC) of the Russian Federation against the decision of the Stavropol Regional Court, which upheld the decision of the authorities of the Stavropol Territory to ban hijabs in schools.

"We filed the appeal to the Supreme Court via the Stavropol Regional Court to declare the decision of the authorities of the Stavropol Territory unlawful," the RIA "Novosti" quotes today Murad Musaev as saying.

Today, the advocate's appeal was filed to the Stavropol Regional Court.

After reading and preparing possible objections, the Stavropol Regional Court will effectuate it and direct it to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, the "Interfax" reports today.
