Gimry residents claim disappearance of their personal belongings after special operation

Residents of the village of Gimry of the Untsukul District of Dagestan, who returned to their houses after the special operation carried out by power agents, claimed disappearance of their personal belongings and damaged property. At present, the curfew has been introduced in the village, representatives of the ROVD (District Interior Division) of the Untsukul District report.

Let us remind you that on April 11, local residents recommended to leave the village of Gimry, where the special operation was carried out. The residents who left the village were accommodated in the village of Vremenny. In the evening of April 20, the local residents were allowed to return to Gimry.

"However, many people, who saw the condition of their houses and their property, had to return to the village. The people hope that the government commission will assess the damage inflicted during the special operation, and, therefore, they leave all the things as they are till the arrival of authorities' representatives," Rasul Magomedov said.

According to his version, many people do not find their personal belongings in their houses. "It comes to ridiculous fact when the Gimry residents return to their houses and do not find monitors from their PCs, TV sets and other things," a local resident said.

Another resident of the village states that in Gimry, at least 50 houses have been destroyed and the same number of houses was affected by explosions in a lesser degree.

If a villager has any complaints, he or she can apply to the police; the incident will be investigated. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by a representative of the Untsukul ROVD.

According to his information, the curfew has been introduced in the village, from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m., when the local men go to the mosque for prayer.

"After 8:00 p.m., no one can enter or leave the village," a source from the Untsukul ROVD has clarified.
