In Azerbaijan, regular soldier suspected of killing his colleague
In Azerbaijan, Khayam Asif oglu Bairamov, an 18-year-old soldier, is suspected of stabbing with a knife Kamran Firdovsi oglu Mamedov, his 19-year-old colleague, who died from the injury.
The incident took place on April 24 in the military unit "N" of the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan, deployed in Baku.
The motives for the killing have not been revealed, and the Military Prosecutor's Office of Baku has initiated a criminal case against Bairamov under Article 120.1 (wilful killing) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan, the agency "News-Azerbaijan" reports today.
