Yuri Budanov's relatives ask jury to find Yusup Temerkhanov guilty
Today, relatives of Yuri Budanov supported the position of prosecutors and asked the jury to find Yusup Temerkhanov guilty of killing the ex-Colonel.
Let us remind you that on April 26, the defence finished to present to the Moscow City Court the evidences of Yusup Temerkhanov's innocence. Today, the Moscow City Court has started hearing arguments of the parties in the case of the murder of the ex-Colonel. During today's session, the Judge has dismissed the defence's motion to resume the court investigation and return of the case to the prosecutor.
Today, Prosecutors Maria Semenenko and Vladimir Boyarshev asked the jury to trust more the evidences presented than the testimonies of the defence's witnesses, who, according to the public prosecutors' version, gave ambiguous testimonies and failed to mention the exact date of the defendant's alibi.
"I am sure that Yusup Temerkhanov has committed the crime out of revenge for the murder of his father, and being insulted, like the entire Chechen people, by the murder of Chechen girl Elza Kungaeva. According to the prosecutors' version, Yusup Temerkhanov is guilty and he does not deserve leniency," Prosecutor Maria Semenenko has stated.
Valery Budanov, the son of Yuri Budanov, has also asked the jury to find the defendant guilty.
