Thousand come to protest against bad roads in Volzhsky
Today, the city of Volzhsky, Volgograd Region has held a protest rally "We are against bad roads", where signatures were collected to petitions to Governor Bozhenov and President Putin.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Yuri Schevelev, one of the organizers of the rally and a deputy of the Volzhsky City Duma, there were no posters at the action; people came and spoke into the free microphone.
"People came to the field with their families to put their signatures. In total, we have collected more than a thousand 'live' signatures; they are also collected online. The rally was held 'out of politics'. People have only one desire – to solve the problem," said Yuri Schevelev.
In the near future, Volzhsky will hold a series of solo pickets in order to further collection of signatures, Yaroslav Volkov, one of the organizers of the rally and the chairman of the Union of Motorists of Volzhsky, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
