Defendant's lawyer in Budanov murder case states pressure on his client's relatives
At the Moscow City Court (MCC), where today the trial on the murder of Colonel Yuri Budanov was continued, the advocate of the defendant Yusup Temerkhanov has reported about an incident in Chechnya, which was treated by him as an act of intimidation intended to press the relatives of his client and the defendant himself.
"Yesterday (December 19), masked men visited the residence of my client's relatives in the Chechen Republic and asked where my client's relatives live and who they are; but getting no answer from locals, 15 minutes later, they left," Murad Musaev said.
According to his story, he is going to "seek identification of these men."
The prosecutor responded that the state prosecution is not aware of this incident.
