"Heritage" to support Ovannisyan at presidential election
The "Zharangutyun" (Heritage) Party has expressed – at its today's congress – its support its leader Raffi Ovannisyan at the upcoming presidential election, who had announced his intention to run for the post by using the procedure of self-nomination.
"The time has come for us all to pull together for the love to our homeland. We are responsible for what we do; and on February 18 everyone will take his or her major exam," Raffi Ovannisyan said in his speech today.
According to Ovsep Khurshudyan, the press secretary of the "Heritage", Raffi Ovannisyan has a very high personal rating and quite favourable starting position.
"The civil society is dissatisfied with the political situation in the country. I'm sure that our candidate is able to change it for the better," said Khurshudyan.
