Ex-Foreign Minister of Nagorno-Karabakh to run for President of Armenia

Today, Arman Melikyan, ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nagorno-Karabakh, made a statement about his intention to run for the position of President of Armenia.

"Having analyzed the current political situation in Armenia and foreign policy challenges, I decided to become a candidate for the presidential election," Arman Melikyan declares in his statement disseminated today.

Arman Melikyan occupied the position of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nagorno-Karabakh in 2004-2005. He has already run for the position of President of Armenia at the election of 2008.
