In Chontaul village, suspected militant and his wife killed in special operation
In Dagestan, in the village of Chontaul of the Kizilyurt District, the active phase of the special operation has been completed, in which two persons were killed. This was reported by a source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
This morning, in the village of Chontaul, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced. Power agents blocked an apartment building where, according to the operative information, members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) were hiding.
Negotiations with the persons blocked in the building did not succeed. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by the source in the Dagestani MIA.
"A suspected militant opened fire on power agents. He was killed by return fire and the young woman who was in the building was also killed. Presumably, she was the wife of the suspected militant, and the young woman also shot to power agents," the MIA's representative said.
