Three casualties of special operation in Makhachkala identified in Dagestan

According to preliminary data, during the special operation held in Dagestan, Gadjimurad Dalgatov, Arsen Kuramagomedov and Shamil Akhmedov, members of the "Kizilyurt" grouping, were killed, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan reports.

Seven suspected militants were part of the so-called "Kizilyurt grouping", the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by a law enforcement source in Dagestan.

According to the MIA, power agents managed to take a common-law wife of one of the militants out of the blocked apartment; the remaining persons were killed as a result of a military operation.

"At the time of the assault, several bandits managed to escape to a neighbouring apartment by breaking one of the walls, where they took a small child who was there (a girl of six years) as a hostage. However, as a result of properly coordinated and professional actions, special agents managed to free the child, while the remaining bandits were neutralized," says the official website of the MIA of Dagestan.
