Maikop Mayoralty did not sanction rally in support of Syrian Circassians
The Mayoralty of Maikop has not sanctioned the rally in support of Syrian Circassians scheduled for January 5, said Arthur Bagadirov, one of the organizers.
In his words, the Mayoralty has referred to the fact that some festivities will be held in the square on January 5.
"We believe that it's just an evasion. Last time, they also rejected a mass rally in support of Syrian Circassians," said Arthur Bagadirov.
According to his story, on January 5 at 4:00 p.m. the plan to hold solo pickets on Lenin Square in Maikop. "We'll hold posters with photos and names of Circassians killed during the war in Syria. This information is handed to us by relatives and friends of the casualties," added Bagadirov.
On December 31 and January 3 Lenin Square hosted several pickets in support of Syrian Circassians.
