167 victims of armed conflict in Ingushetia in 1212
No less than 167 persons became victims of armed conflict in Ingushetia in 2012, 84 out of them were killed and 83 got wounded. The number of victims exceeds the same index of 2011 by over one and a half times when there were 108 of them. This is the total of calculation by the “Caucasian Knot” based on its own correspondents’ data and information from other open sources.
According to law enforcement bodies, the losses among the participants of armed underground in 2012 in the republic made 40 killed people. Besides, four persons who according to the data of power ministries were involved in the activities of armed underground got wounded.
As a result of firing, explosions and armed confrontations no less than 33 persons from among enforcement agencies all in all were killed and 58 got wounded. The total number of victims in this category is 91.
Civilians also become victims of the conflict between power ministries and the underground. In 2012 there were 32 such victims in Ingushetia, among them 11 persons killed and 21 wounded.
