Woman, whose abduction was reported by relatives, found killed in Dagestan
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan has reported that on June 9, in the Karakojsu River, in the Gergebil District of Dagestan, the body of a 43-year-old woman-resident of the village of Khadzhalmakhi, Levashin District, was found with a gunshot wound in her head.
The message posted on the website of the republic's MIA says that respective materials have been collected on the fact; however, the casualty's name is not specified. Earlier, relatives of Ummiyum Rabadanova, a 43-year-old resident of the above village, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent about her abduction.
"She lived with her mother, daughter and son. On June 4, a Gazel van drove up to her house; unidentified armed men in camouflage got out, forced the woman into the van and drove away to some unknown place. The kidnappers were Dagestanis, as they spoke Russian with an accent," said one of the woman's relatives on condition of anonymity.
He added that Ummiyum Rabadanova was a strictly practicing Muslim; and she was summoned to the police several times, because of the suspicions that her younger brother was among militants.
