Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of violating ceasefire

On January 7 and tonight, the Armenian armed forces violated the ceasefire. This was reported by press service of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan.

According to the information of the Azerbaijani MoD, "the Armenian armed forces violated ceasefire from positions deployed near the village of Voskepar of the Noemberyan District of Armenia."

"Besides, the violation of ceasefire was registered near the occupied villages of Shykhlar and Sarydjaly of the Agdam District," the "Trend" quotes the message of the press service of the Azerbaijani MoD as stating.

According to the information of the press service, the shelling was suppressed by return fire, the "APA" reports.
