In Astrakhan, developer smashes part of Porfirievs' house with people inside, eyewitnesses say
On June 13, the house of the Porfiriev family in Astrakhan was approached by an excavator, and, despite the protests of policemen, began demolishing the house, inside which there were people, the eyewitnesses of the incident told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
The Porfiriev family is evicted from their house at No. 14 Amurskaya Street under the ruling of the court, but the people refuse to move out of the building, stating that they have nowhere to go. The litigation is on for five years. At present, the developer – the LLC "Stroyinvest" – is erecting luxury housing around the Porfirievs' house.
According to witnesses, at about 10:30 a.m., from the side of one of the houses under construction, an excavator arrived and started smashing down the fence. The policemen called by the tenants tried to stop the process; however, despite them, the demolition of the household began.
"Only after arrival of Anatoly Razuvan, the head of the district service of court marshals, the demolition was stopped," said Regina Porfirieva.
The director of the LLC "Stroyinvest" was taken to Police Station No. 1 of the MIA for Astrakhan; and according to Pyotr Rusanov, an employee of the press service of the MIA of the Astrakhan Region, the issue of opening a criminal case is considered.
