In Karachay-Cherkessia, alleged organizer of Zorb entertainment taken under home arrest
The Court pronounced the pre-trial restriction measure in the form of home arrest to the alleged organizer of the Zorb entertainment in Dombay, where two tourists fell down into the gorge while rolling down inside an orb.
Ravil Chekunov was charged of providing services that did not meet the safety requirements, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
Alibek Botashev, Press Secretary of the Supreme Court of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR) has stated that "the pre-trial restriction measure was pronounced in the form of home arrest because of the fact that, in addition to the severity of the alleged crime, in fact, the suspect came to the police himself and admitted his guilt," the "Interfax" reports.
Ravil Chekunov will be kept under home arrest for three months till March 9, inclusive.
