All persons killed on December 28-29, 2012, in special operation in Makhachkala identified

The last man killed in the special operation held on December 28-29, 2012, in Makhachkala. That was Nabiyulla Askerov, a 29-year-old native of Dagestan. This was reported by a source in the Investigating Committee for Dagestan.

Seven suspected militants were killed in the house blocked on December 28, 2012, that was located in Kazbekov Street in Makhachkala. Besides, a suspected accomplice of militants was also killed. According to the information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the number of the killed persons included Gadjimurad Dolgatov, the leader of the "Kizilyurt" grouping. As of December 30, 2012, only one killed person was not identified.

That person was Nabiyulla Asgerov, a native of the Kizilyurt District of Dagestan, born in 1983. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by a source in the Investigating Committee.

"He, like other persons blocked in the house, was a member of the 'Kizilyurt' subversive and terrorist grouping. Members of the grouping were involved in extortion of money from businessmen, and they committed attempts on policemen and threatened civilians," the source has clarified.
