The authorities of Chechnya reported murder of leader of a paramilitary group under the alias of “Pilek” in a special operation

Leader of a paramilitary group (PMG) under the alias of “Pilek” was killed in the mountains of Chechnya during a special operation together with Gakaev brothers, Head of Chechnya declared.

It should be reminded that on January, 23 and 24, a large-scale special operation went on in Vedeno district of Chechnya. According to the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Russian Federation, 12 participants of PMG were killed during the operation. However, according to the authorities of Chechnya, 11 members of armed underground were killed.

Well-known leaders of PMG brothers Hussein and Muslim Gakaev were identified among those killed.

Abu-Supyan Djabrailov under the alias of “Pilek” was chieftain of the group involved in a series of grave crimes who “for no reasons killed peaceful residents and members of power ministries”, Ramzan Kadyrov states.

According to more precise data, two policemen from Vedeno and Kurchaloy district Department of Interior Affairs died from wounding as a result of the battle, official web-site of Head and the Government of Chechen Republic reports.
