Committee of Inquiry of Russia: the state of the persons wounded during an assault at an Imam in Dagestan remains grave
The state of the wife and son of the Imam of the settlement of Kakhabroso, Untsukul district of Dagestan, who were wounded during firing at the religious figure’s house still remains grave, a representative of Committee of Inquiry of Russia (CIR) in Dagestan reported.
Earlier, the “Caucasian Knot” informed that the assault at the Imam of the settlement of Kakhabroso, Untsukul district of Dagestan, Magomed Aliev took place at night of June, 23. One of the attackers, resident of the settlement of Gimry, Magomedhabib Abdulaev aged 28, was killed during skirmish near the Imam’s house, the Ministry of Interior Affairs in Dagestan reported. Two others escaped.
“The wife and son of the Imam of the settlement of Kakhabroso got gunshot wounds. They were operated on and are currently in a grave state. Imam Magomed Aliev himself was not injured, a representative of the Investigative Department of CIR in Dagestan reported.
It should be reminded that according to National Anti-Terrorist Committee, the Imam earlier received threats from “Gimry” subversive terrorist group. The attempt at him was committed on religious grounds.
