In Dagestan, explosion triggered near border guard's car

An improvised explosive device (IED) went off near the car of a border guard as he stepped out of the cafe.

"A bomb fragment damaged the windshield of the car; the serviceman was not hurt," said a police source.

Now, the person who had planted the IED is being searched, the "Interfax" reports, citing a source from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan.
