Police finds the car of the policeman killed in Khasavyurt
The car of the Chechen policeman Magomed Eskerkhanov, who was kidnapped and killed in Dagestan, was found burned down in Khasavyurt, said the spokesman of the Investigatory department for Dagestan of the ICRF.
The body of the policeman from Chechnya with gunshot wounds of his head and chest was found in the afternoon on February 1 on the side of a country road. He was kidnapped by unidentified persons at night on February 1 near a petrol station in the Novolak District.
"We assume that the murder was committed by members of Khasavyurt gang," Rasul Temirbekov, Senior Assistant for Media Relations of the head of the ID for Dagestan of the ICRF, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to the preliminary version of the investigation, the assailants wanted to commit a robbery and take possession of the car.
