Two men killed in shootout with police in Dagestan
As reported by the local Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), during an attack on the police in the Khasavyurt district of Dagestan two men were killed and a woman was wounded.
The MIA has explained that policemen tried to stop for inspection a VAZ-2109 car, but the people opened fire on them from inside the car. "According to updated information, in a shootout two men were killed. A woman, who was with them in the car, was wounded," said the spokesman of the MIA.
The Investigatory Department for Dagestan of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has confirmed that two men were killed in a skirmish. "A submachine gun and a pistol were found on them; they are now being identified," said the spokesman of the Department.
