Policeman shot dead in Dagestan
Tonight, in the Levashin District of Dagestan, unidentified criminals shot dead a local district policeman, said a source from law enforcement bodies.
The incident occurred at 9:15 p.m. Moscow time in the village of Khadjalmakhi. "The district local policeman Captain Alimirzuev was shot in the back when he was coming up to his house," said the source.
The policeman died on the way to the hospital, the "Interfax" reports.
The details of the incident are clarified; and it is yet unknown how many attackers there were, and what firearms they used, the NTV reports referring to its source.
