Sochi: residents of house in Akatsiy Street want to challenge court marshal's ruling on demolition of public toilet
The tenants of No. 5 inAkatsiy Street have received a ruling of the Adler service of court marshals prescribing the tenants to voluntarily demolish – at their own expense and within five days – the public toilet and the shed for storing firewood. The tenants disagree and plan to challenge the ruling in court.
Tenants found the letters with the ruling on June 25, Irina Kharchenko, one of them, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
"It is possible that the postman had brought the letters earlier, but due to the road construction, our life is in complete turmoil; the mailboxes were demolished, we simply didn't notice them," said the woman.
On May 20, the court not only ruled to demolish the ancillary buildings with the toilet and shed, but also granted the request of the city administration to arrest these structures, another tenant Yulia Saltykova explained to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
"We're sure to appeal against the court marshal's ruling, because it contains incorrect information," she said.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported about alienations of land plots for Olympic construction, when, in the opinion of the inhabitants of Sochi residents, their rights were violated, as well as about evictions of residents without providing them with housing or compensations.
