Forensic examination of Demerchyan on torture in Sochi is scheduled for June 26
Examination on the application about the torture, applied to the builder Demerchyan in Sochi, is scheduled for June 26, Ivan Sengerov, the spokesman of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) for the Krasnodar Territory, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Let us remind you that on June 24 three policemen tried to deliver Mardiros Demerchyan for the medical examination appointed by the investigator. The policemen abandoned their intentions after the intervention of the lawyer, Demerchyan himself told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
"On June 24, Demerchyan refused from medical examination, but on June 26 he can take a forensic medical examination (FME)," said Ivan Sengerov.
The lawyer Alexander Boichenko claims that his client needs no unofficial examinations without the legal documents of the ICRF.
"This examination should not be carried at all during the preliminary investigation. It's unclear on what grounds, under an investigator's call, some proctologist from the city hospital, who has nothing to do with the earlier with the earlier appointed FME, should give his opinion," Alexander Boichenko told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
"Demerchyan needs an official FME and expert's opinion. These documents will affect opening of the criminal case," said the lawyer.
