Over ten persons detained during investigation of murder of children in Dagestan
Law enforcement bodies of Dagestan inspected over 40 persons for suspicion of murder of two children in Dagestan and over 10 were detained, the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the republic reports.
On February, 11, two children were killed in the house of an officer of non-departmental police security service in the settlement of Beldji, Derbent district of Dagestan. Money and jewellery to a sum of about 300 thousand roubles were stolen from the house.
The policemen inspected about 40 persons, 10 out of them were detained for further investigation, web-site of the Ministry of Interior Affairs reports.
The investigation considers two versions: robbery assault or a crime connected with professional activities of the boys’ father, “Novaya Gazeta” referring to Rasul Temirbekov, representative of Investigative Committee of Dagestan, reports.
According to preliminary data, Makrid aged 9 was killed in the hallway and his brother Khanemir aged 11 tried to hide himself in the second floor, republican state broadcasting company “Dagestan” reports.
