Court takes former head of Ingush Pension Fund under home arrest

A pre-trial restriction measure to Movli Vyshegurov, the former head of the Pension Fund of Russia (PFR) for Ingushetia, was changed from detention to home arrest. This was reported by the press service of the Pyatigorsk City Court.

On March 28, 2012, Movlat (Movli) Vyshegurov and several other staff members of the PFR for Ingushetia were detained on suspicion of multi-million-rouble manipulations and fraud with maternity capital.

On March 31, 2012, Movli Vyshegurov was brought to the hospital of the city of Pyatigorsk. According to a source in the Ingush law enforcement bodies, the former civilian servant had a heart attack. Later, it became known that Movli Vyshegurov is kept at the SIZO (pre-trial prison) and not at the hospital.

A representative of the Pyatigorsk City Court has reported that the pre-trial restriction measure to Movli Vyshegurov was changed because of his health state on February 8.

"However, the Court's decision has been challenged and did not come in force," the "Interfax-Yug" was told by the source.

The information that the Court had changed the pre-trial restriction measure to Movli Vyshegurov was also confirmed by a representative of the GUMVD (Chief Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs) for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), the RIA "Novosti" reports.
