In Ingushetia, head of Nazran District administration detained

Today, Aslan Dobriev, the head of the Nazran District of Ingushetia, was detained at his working place. The detention was held within the investigation into the criminal case. This was explained by officials from the republic's law enforcement bodies. The officials did not specify the criminal case.

The message about the detention of Aslan Dobriev was received to the SMS-service of the "Caucasian Knot". Today, at 10:00 a.m., in Nazran, the building of the administration of the Nazran District was cordoned off by staff members of the FSB Department for Ingushetia. They seized from the building all office equipment and documentation. Aslan Dobriev, the head of the administration, was also detained and accompanied from his working room in handcuffs. This was reported by an author of the SMS.

This information was acknowledged to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by a staff member of the administration of the Nazran District who preferred to remain anonymous.

Officials from the law enforcement bodies of Ingushetia stated that the head of the district administration was detained within the investigation into the criminal case and that the detention and search of his house was carried out by FSB officers.

The press service of the FSB for Ingushetia refused to comment.

At present, the "Caucasian Knot" has no comments of the detainee or his advocates and relatives.
