In Nalchik, rally against arbitrariness of power agents ends after meeting with Security Council Secretary

Today, in Nalchik, the rally in support of relatives of disappeared local residents has ended after an older brother of one of the kidnapped persons met Ruslan Eshugaov, Secretary of the Council on Economic and Public Safety of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR). This was stated by participants of the protest action.

In total, about forty persons attended the protest action.

According to the story of Akhmat Kaitaev, a brother of one of the disappeared persons, the main purpose of the rally was to support relatives of Alim Kaitaev and Ismail Baluev who urge the authorities to respond to the question about whereabouts of their family members.

The participants of the rally began to disperse after Akhmat Kaitaev told them about the results of his 1.5-hour meeting with Ruslan Eshugaov, Secretary of the Council on Economic and Public Safety of the KBR.

"During the conversation, a special emphasis has been placed to the fact that we belong to the part of the population that is looking for a dialogue with the authorities. The Secretary of the Republic's Security Council carefully listened to us and made some notes. Ruslan Eshugaov understood the core of our problem and promised us to take the issue under his control," Akhmat Kaitaev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
