Relatives of 28-year-old resident of Dagestan state his disappearance after detention by power agents
In Dagestan, relatives cannot locate Magomed Magomedov, 28, who was detained by police on June 24.
His relatives assert that Magomed Magomedov was detained by Kizilyurt district policemen at the post at the entrance to Kizilyurt from the village of Komsomolskoe.
"For two days he was kept at the Kizilyurt Police Department. On June 26, we were told that he was released. But he disappeared. He never came home; and his phone was off," one of the relatives of Magomed Magomedov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to his story, policemen showed them a video made by TV cameras, located inside the police building. The video shows how policemen released Magomedov.
"They showed us the records from the inner cameras, but we haven't seen him going out into the street. Policemen say they cannot show us records from exterior cameras, since it's secret information," said the relative.
Magomedov's relatives lodged a missing person's application to the prosecutor's office, the investigating division of the Department of the ICRF for Dagestan, the Kizilyurt police department and the Dagestan regional public organization "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy).
