31 educators to be sacked in Dagestan for USE violations
As stated on June 28 by Evgeniy Semchenko, the head of the department for assessing the education quality of the "Rosobrnadzor" (Russian Federal Supervisory Service in Education and Sciences), more than 30 officials from education bodies and schools of Dagestan will be dismissed for violations during the unified state examination (USE).
"Currently, presentations have been sent on dismissing 10 education officials and 12 principals in the Republic of Dagestan," said Semchenko.
According to his story, "nine education officials of the regional and municipal level will also be fired," the "Gazeta.ru" writes.
Mass violations during the USE were registered in Dagestan.
The estimates of half of the high-point (80 points and above) and 100-point USE exam papers in a number of subjects were unjustifiably overstated by members of regional examination commissions – this was the conclusion made on June 24 by "Rosobrnadzor" specialists. Moreover, as established by the check, 70% of rechecked works in biology were copied by graduates from each other or from the option posted out on the Internet; and 4% more had probably access to standard answers.
