Four persons put up for a seat of Mayor of Cherkessk
The term of nomination on the contest for a seat of Head of Administration of Cherkessk ended today. There are four nominees, among them Ruslan Tambiev who earlier abdicated Mayor’s responsibility.
Acceptance of applications for holding Mayor’s office started on February, 7. The contest will be held on March, 1, official web-site of Cherkessk reports.
Besides the fifty-year-old Tambiev, Victor Balabanov aged 49, Director General of “Heating Systems” limited company, and Head of Department of Social Protection of municipal Mayor’s office Olga Prygunova aged 56, applied for participation in the contest, “Interfax” referring to a representative of Cherkessk municipal Duma informs.
Until March, 1, every candidate’s documents will be considered by the members of the contest committee after which the candidacy elected by them will be presented to the deputies of municipal Duma for voting.
