Abdulatipov acting as Head of Dagestan apologized for the action of the young people who put out the Eternal Flame in Astrakhan

Ramazan Abdulatipov acting as Head of Dagestan apologized for the actions of five natives of the republic who put out the Eternal Flame in the memorial complex “Bratsky Sad” of Astrakhan at night of February, 23.

Earlier, the “Caucasian Knot” reported that three persons out of those detained were taken into custody and two underage released.

A criminal case according to clause “Damage or desecration of burial grounds of the participants of struggle against fascism” of the Criminal Code of Russia was initiated, “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” reports.

“The actions committed by our young countrymen disgraces every family, village or town and the republic on the whole”, a representative of Press Service of Head of Dagestan said.

“They will be strictly punished”, Governor of Astrakhan region Alexander Zhilkin wrote in his blog on the Twitter.
