A criminal case on the fact of threats to a lawyer initiated in Kabardino-Balkaria
Investigative Department of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Russia in Nalchik initiated a criminal case of SMS messages with threats coming to the phone of Magomed Abubakarov, lawyer of “Nizam” Bar.
On February, 11, 2013, lawyer of “Nizam” Bar Magomed Abubakarov appealed to the Minister of Interior Affairs of Kabardino-Balkaria reporting threats which he associated with his activities in the sphere of protection of human rights. The lawyer does not rule out that some people from law enforcement bodies are at the back of these threats.
Lawyer of “Nizam” Bar Magomed Abubakarov acted and is going on acting in the interests of residents of Kabardino-Balkaria in many notorious cases.
On February, 22, Investigative Unit of the Department of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Russia in Nalchik initiated a criminal case according to clause “Threat of homicide or damnification a person’s health” of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, a report of “Memorial” human rights center runs.
