Ramazan Abdulatipov dismissed the Government of Dagestan

Today Ramazan Abdulatipov temporarily acting as Head of Dagestan signed a decree of resignation of the Government and nominated Muhtar Medjidov as candidate for the office of Prime Minister.

After signing the decree Ramazan Abdulatipov commissioned the Government with further carrying out its duties until a new Cabinet was formed.

“Ramazan Abdulatipov introduced Muhtar Murtazalievich Medjidov’s candidature to consideration of the National Assembly for appointment him Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan”, Press Service of Head of Dagestan reported.

Today Ramazan Abdulatipov’s introduction as person temporarily acting as Head of Dagestan was held in Makhachkala. In his speech he emphasized the necessity of competitive selection of top-ranking officials and suggested the ones who had held their offices over ten years to resign.
