In Dagestan, activist of DRPO "Pravozaschita" states being forced to give DNA assay

Zarema Bagautdinova, an employee of the Dagestani Regional Public Organization (DRPO) "Pravozaschita" (Advocacy), who was delivered this morning to the police department of Buynaksk, has reported that policemen forced her to give a DNA assay. In her opinion, the reason for the detention was in her professional activities.

The arrest of Bagautdinova was reported by her sister Burliyat. Zarema's house was searched; however, according to her sister, nothing illegal was found by power agents. The search warrant stated that it was conducted within the inquiry into the attack on policemen on April 30, in which three people were killed and two more wounded.

"The statement about interrogation indicates that I supposedly am an active participant of bandit formations, that I disseminate information in the press that has nothing to do with reality, thereby discrediting the law enforcement bodies," said Zarema Bagautdinova on the phone to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The City Police of Buynaksk has confirmed to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent the information about the delivery of Zarema Bagautdinova there for questioning, but did not explain the reason for the detention.
