Law enforcers now deal with the families who voluntarily moved into new house in Tskhinvali

The apartment house in Tskhinvali, where five families, needy of better housing, moved this March, is a private property, as Vadim Gabaraev, the deputy head of the local Ministry of Construction, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. The question of whether to keep them in new apartments or evict them is now being considered by law enforcement bodies, said the Tskhinvali Mayoralty.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 16 a number of residents of Tskhinvali, who needed better housing, moved arbitrarily into apartments of new houses that were almost ready for commissioning. They explained their actions by the intolerable conditions, in which they had lived until recently.

According to Vadim Gabaraev, the houses, where the five families moved in, "are not on the balance sheet of the Mayoralty or the Ministry of Construction; they have their private owners." However, according to the new tenants, there are no owners of the apartments in the new houses.

It should be noted here that in April 2013 the administration of Tskhinvali began re-registering the citizens of South Ossetia, who are on the waiting list to receive municipal housing. In total, 1323 people are enlisted, the Tskhinvali Mayoralty told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
