Akhmednabi Akhmednabiev, "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, buried in Dagestan

Akhmednabi Akhmednabiev, a "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, was buried in his native village of Karata of the Akhvakh District of Dagestan. This was reported by advocate Abdurashid Sheikhov, a participant of the funeral ceremony.

Let us remind you that Akhmednabi Akhmednabiev was shot dead this morning in the village of Semender in Dagestan. The journalist died in the place from the wounds. The funeral service for the killed journalist was held in a mosque in Makhachkala.

In Makhachkala, the participants of the funeral procession carried the body of Akhmednabi Akhmednabiev along the central square. According to Muslim traditions, the body of Akhmednabi Akhmednabiev was buried before the sunset.

The "Caucasian Knot" is willing to pay a reward of 200,000 roubles for any valuable factual information about the assassinators of Akhmednabi Akhmednabiev. The information can be sent using any form of communication.

Akhmednabi Akhmednabiev had been working for the "Caucasian Knot" for more than seven years. In his materials, he raised acute problems: he wrote about massive human rights violations, crimes committed by law enforcers in Dagestan, and persecution of entire religious communities.

Investigators consider his professional activities as a top priority version of the murder.
