Agents of the Federal Security Bureau (FSB) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) should check the heads of those villages and districts, where members of the armed underground are active; such head should be dismissed, said Ramazan Abdulatipov, the acting head of Dagestan.
Abdulatipov has also demanded to study the information about those who collaborates with militants and "sympathizes with them"; these people should be "isolated from the society."
Ramazan Abdulatipov made these statements on July 14 at a coordination meeting on ensuring law and order in Dagestan.
The reason for the emergency meeting with participation of Abdulatipov was the killing of four policemen in the Lak District.
