Meeting of "Promzhilbaza" residents with Ombudsman's staff disrupted in Ingushetia
The visiting meeting of residents of the temporary accommodation centre (TAC) "Promzhilbaza" with representatives of the Ombudsman's Office scheduled for July 15 in Ingushetia was disrupted. Staff members of the Ombudsman's Office did not obtain the answers to all questions directed by them to the authorities on the complaints received from the residents of the "Promzhilbaza". This was explained by Djambulat Ozdoev, Ombudsman in Ingushetia.
"As soon as we have the answers and explanations for each situation, we will surely organize the meeting," Djambulat Ozdoev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
"In total, we received 32 complaints from internally displaced persons (IDPs) of the TAC 'Promzhilbaza'. We consider each of them separately. When the issue can be resolved quickly, we resolve it," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Isa Daurbekov, Chief of the Ombudsman's Office.
The very residents of the temporary accommodation centre hope for help from the authorities. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot correspondent by Aset Khadisova, a resident of the TAC "Promzhilbaza".
"We have nowhere to go. And if the TAC 'Promzhilbaza' is closed, we will be on the street," Aset Khadisova said.
