Chechnya's Prosecutor's Office goes to court to restrict access to Doku Umarov's video message
The Prosecutor's Office of Chechnya has demanded to restrict access to the video message, posted by the leader of the "Imarat Kavkaz" Doku Umarov, and lodged a respective suit to the Leninsky District Court of Grozny.
Let us remind you that in early July the leader of the "Imarat Kavkaz" Doku Umarov called for the disruption of the Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014 and overturned his earlier moratorium on committing terror acts in Russia. He announced the new change in tactics in his video message, posted on the websites that support the armed underground and on the YouTube video service.
The Prosecutor's Office demands to restrict access to the Internet and Umarov's video message, in which he calls on militants to use all possible methods to disrupt the Olympic Games in Sochi.
The Office lodged its suit to the Leninsky District Court of Grozny on July 15. It is now being considered, says the website of the Chechnya's Prosecutor's Office.
