In Stavropol Territory, nationalists hold actions in support of Alexei Navalny
In anticipation of the pronouncement of the verdict to opposition activist Alexei Navalny on the case of "Kirovles", activists of nationalist organizations held actions in his support in the cities of Stavropol, Pyatigorsk, and Nevinnomyssk. Participants of the actions hung banners in public places reading: "Freedom for prisoners of conscience!" and "Freedom for Navalny!"
The actions were organized by Dmitry Chernov, the coordinator of the movement "Cathedral Ukraine" in the south of Russia, the organizer of "Russian marches".
"I decided to organize this action in solidarity with Alexei Navalny. There are two reasons for the action: on July 18, the verdict on the Alexei Navalny's case will be pronounced, and on July 25, Russia marks the Day of solidarity with prisoners of conscience. A lot of Russian young people were subjected to repressions of the political system, and we want everyone to know that those people are far from thieves, fraudsters, and rapists. They act not out of mercenary motives, but for the well-being of our people, for you and me," Dmitry Chernov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
