Said Amirov's advocate confirms his client's transfer from hospital to SIZO
Said Amirov, who was dismissed from his position of Mayor of Makhachkala and accused of killing an investigator, was transferred back to SIZO (pre-trial prison) from the hospital, to which he was earlier brought for the medical examination. This was reported by his lawyer Mark Kruter.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the transfer of Said Amirov to the 20th city hospital of Moscow took place on July 12. Mark Kruter, the advocate of Said Amirov, has stated that his client undergoes a full medical examination at the medical institution. Today, it was reported that Said Amirov was transferred from the hospital to the SIZO "Lefortovo".
According Mark Kruter's report, the health state of Said Amirov, kept at the SIZO "Lefortovo", is not very good, and the defence seeks to change the pre-trial restriction measure for him to home arrest.
"Today, I had a conversation with the head physician of the hospital and the head of the department, in which Said Amirov underwent the medical examination. Without going into the details of the medical examination, they are, nevertheless, said that the SIZO 'Lefortovo' should organize the proper conditions and care for such a patient as Said Amirov," Mark Kruter has noted.
However, in his opinion, it is impossible to organize such conditions at the SIZO "Lefortovo". According to the advocate’s version, Said Amirov needs a nurse and constant medical care.
