Krasnodar: leaflets "Freedom to Navalny!" are spread in hundreds

On July 19, plenty of A4 size leaflets with portraits of the opposition leader Alexei Navalny and slogans in his support appeared in the streets of Krasnodar.

Let us remind you that on July 18Alexei Navalny was sentenced to five years in prison on charges of embezzlement of property of the state-owned company "Kirovles". In the courtroom, Navalny was taken under guard, but on July 19 the court released him under recognizance not to leave.

The leaflets, pasted over Krasnodar, contain the calls "Freedom to Navalny!" and slogans "Fake trial – real prison", "Navalny is fighting for your freedom!" and "Crooks and thieves – behind bars!", the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

The leaflets appeared, in particular, on advertisement stands, posts and in public transport. They do not call to particular actions.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 18 rallies in support of Navalny were held in many cities of Russia, including the Southern Federal District (SFD) and North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), namely, in Volgograd, Krasnodar, Pyatigorsk, Stavropol and Rostov-on-Don.
